Privacy Policy

Flux AI is an AI-powered career intelligence platform helping professionals assess and navigate career risk in the age of AI. When this policy says "we", "us", or "our", it refers to the Flux AI team.

Information you provide directly:

• Account data — name, email address, and a hashed password (we never store your plain-text password).
• Resume data — skills, role, years of experience, and industry extracted from your uploaded resume. The raw file is not stored after processing.
• Assessment inputs — role, skills, industry, and career goals you enter.
• Payment data — plan selected and Razorpay payment IDs. Card details are handled entirely by Razorpay and never reach our servers.
• AI Mentor messages — stored to provide conversation context and improve responses.

Information collected automatically:

• IP address and browser type — for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
• Usage data — pages visited and features used, in anonymised form.

• To generate your personalised career risk assessment, career path, and roadmap.
• To power the AI Mentor with context from your profile and history.
• To track skill progress and career simulation history.
• To manage your account, subscription, and payments.
• To improve our AI models using anonymised, aggregated data only.
• To send transactional emails (e.g. payment confirmation, account notices).

We do not sell your data to any third party for advertising or marketing.

• Account data and assessments are retained while your account is active.
• AI Mentor conversations are retained for 12 months, then automatically deleted.
• On account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymised aggregate statistics may be retained for analytics.

We implement industry-standard security including HTTPS/TLS encryption, bcrypt password hashing, JWT-based authentication with short token expiry, parameterised database queries to prevent injection attacks, and rate limiting on all sensitive endpoints.

We use browser localStorage to store your authentication token for session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Flux AI is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us at privacy@getfluxai.com and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you by email of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
